Components of the program include, but are not limited to:
Levels of Support:
Students may be recommended for grade checks. The purpose of tracking a student's academic progress allows the student and support team to be aware in a consistent and timely manner of missing assignments, grades and issues that may impede their child's progress before they become larger concerns.
Students may be recommended to enroll in the Guided Studies course. Students in Guided Studies will also receive grade checks. Additionally, these students will receive, daily, structured one-on-one tutoring providing assistance with assignments in other classes. Students will meet in one-on-one goal setting sessions with Mrs. Schoening to examine and create plans to enhance their lives academically, vocationally, personally and socially. The Guided Studies course will also contain lessons/skills delivered as described in the course description.

Components of the program include, but are not limited to:
- Daily, structured, one-on-one tutoring with other course assignments related to individual challenges (Guided Studies)
- Daily planning and participation in assignment completion (daily planning sheet and points)
- Individual implementation of skill based strategies needed for the student's growth (goal setting)
- Tracking of academic progress (grade checks)
- Creating a support system for each student including parents/guardians, principal, guidance counselor, teachers (including the student's T.A.) and other per individual need
- Career/College exploration and planning
- Academic/personal/social skill development
- Parents as partners: gathering input from, providing support to, and building relationships with parents
- Peer tutoring as available
- Referral and partnerships with outside support services
