IOWA REGENT ADMISSION INDEX
Students planning to attend a public university in Iowa must have a Regent Admission Index (RAI) of at least 245 or higher and have completed the minimum number of required high school courses in order to be automatically admitted to Iowa State University, the University of Iowa, and the University of Northern Iowa. This formula contains strong predictors of academic success at a university.
